Teacher Training Program


  • What is Mat + Anatomy?

Mat + Anatomy is a Mat Pilates Certification Program that teaches you about all of the Pilates Movement Principles and how they apply to mat pilates exercises as well as the full mat pilates choreography. The program includes a comprehensive anatomy training as well as lectures on Special Populations I and modifications to make pilates accessible for every body. Whether you want to become an instructor or just deepen your practice, we are excited to welcome you. At the end of the program you will be a certified instructor being able to train others with the pilates method anywhere in the world.

  • What is Reformer + Jumpboard?

Reformer + Jumpboard is an Equipment Certification Program that includes all levels of Reformer choreography (including Jumpboard) as well as lectures on Special Populations II. At the end of the program you will be a certified instructor being able to train clients on the Reformer.

  • How long is the Mat + Anatomy program?

There are three weekends of lectures. After completing the lecture hours, you will continue your training by completing your self-practice, unsupervised teaching and supervised teaching hours. It is up to the participant on how often they practice and how quickly they get through the 90h program.

  • How long is the Reformer + Jumpboard program?

The Reformer + Jumpboard program is a 200h certification program. After completing your lecture hours, you will continue your training by completing your self-practice, unsupervised teaching and supervised teaching hours. It is up to the participant on how quickly they get through their hours.

  • Do I need prior experience in Pilates?

Not at all. While it is beneficial to be familiar with pilates, it is not a requirement. We are excited to introduce pilates to everyone.

  • What if I cannot attend all lecture hours?

We strongly recommend attending all lecture hours, however if you miss a session we can share a recorded lecture online (please note that lectures will only be recorded with prior agreement, all requests need to be made before the first day of lectures). If you prefer to reschedule a private in person lecture hour, there is a $100/h fee.

  • When is payment due?

Full payment is due two weeks prior to the start of the program. A down payment of $250 is required to reserve your spot. Payment plans are available. All sales are final.

  • How many students will be participating?

We limit participants to 10 people to provide the best quality training and personal mentoring time.

  • When is the next training?

Reformer + Jumpboard starts in April 2024. Mat + Anatomy starts in October 2023.

  • What are the prerequisites for Reformer + Jumpboard?

You have to have gone through our Mat + Anatomy. However, we understand that people move and things can change. If you have received a mat certification elsewhere, please reach out to see if your program is eligible.

  • What does the test out look like?

There will be a written test as well as practical exam.
