What is Reformer + Jumpboard?
Reformer + Jumpboard is a Pilates Certification Program that includes all levels of Reformer choreography (including Jump Board) as well as lectures on Anatomy and Special Populations. At the end of the program you will be a certified pilates instructor being able to train clients on the Reformer.
How long is the Reformer + Jumpboard program?
The Reformer + Jumpboard program is a 200h certification program. After completing the lectures, you will continue your training by completing your self-practice, observation hours, unsupervised teaching and supervised teaching hours. It is up to the participant on how quickly they get through their hours.
Do I need prior experience in Pilates?
Not at all. While it is beneficial to be familiar with pilates, it is not a requirement. We are excited to introduce pilates to everyone.
What if I cannot attend all lecture hours?
It is mandatory to attend all lecture days. If you prefer to reschedule a private in person lecture hour, there is a $100/h fee.
When is payment due?
Full payment is due two weeks prior to the start of the program. A down payment of $250 is required to reserve your spot. Payment plans are available. All sales are final.
How many students will be participating?
We keep our groups small to provide the best quality training and personal mentoring time.
When is the next training?
Reformer + Jumpboard starts in April 2025.
Are there prerequisites for Reformer + Jumpboard?
No. If you have already completed our Mat+Anatomy training, you do not have to attend the first weekend of Reformer+Jump Board training as it will cover the Anatomy part already studied in Mat+Anatomy training. You are always welcome to still sit in on those lectures as it is a great way to refresh your memory.
What does the test-out look like?
There will be a written test as well as practical exam.
